"Massage has always been more than just a technique for me; it’s been a way of life. I grew up in a place where massage wasn’t just for special occasions or spa days; it was a trusted, everyday healing tool. In my family, it was how we showed care, soothed pain, and stayed connected. My grandmother, the heart of our home, chose me as her student. With her gentle hands and intuitive wisdom, she taught me how to feel tension before it was spoken, how to bring ease with just a touch. That gift shaped me; and I’ve been using it ever since.
When I moved to Canada with my family, I brought those healing roots with me. But I was also inspired by how massage is respected here as an essential part of healthcare.
I knew I wanted to build on what I already carried; to blend the intuitive art I’d grown up with and the science of therapeutic massage. So I chose to study at Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy, one of Ontario’s top schools. After years of intense training, clinical practice, and many cups of coffee, I proudly graduated in October 2024 and became a Registered Massage Therapist (RMT), licensed by the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO).
